Being joyful!
This is a word that I often forget...

JOY!JOY!JOY!
Yeah I am assuming you get it now:)

But the word "joy" is mentioned in the bible over 150 times,
there are also other words related to joy such as, joyful, joyous, rejoice, the word rejoice is mentioned over 200 times.
Being joyful, is often trying, but with God's help we can be.
A reminder to smile, and be joyful for you have another day to share with others the joy of Jesus Christ and the message of hope:)

Psalm 132:9

New International Version (NIV)

9...may your faithful people sing for joy.’”

Psalm 33:1
Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him.

 Psalm 33:3
Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy

 Psalm 68:3
But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful.

"There is no duty we so much underate, as the duty of being happy."

Proverbs 17:22 (New American Standard

22 A joyful heart is good medicine, But a broken spirit dries up the bones.

I am working on words, in my heart and in my vocabulary that will be an encouragement not only to myself,
but to others.

Proverbs 18:4

 4 The words of a man’s mouth are like deep waters;
The fountain of wisdom is a bubbling brook.

Matthew 12:36 But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken.

"I want to say that I spoke words of love, when that day comes." ~Moriah

                      1 Corinthians 13
American Standard Version

1If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal. 2And if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3And if I bestow all my goods to feed the poor , and if I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profiteth me nothing. 4Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not provoked, taketh not account of evil; 6rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth with the truth; 7beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall be done away; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall be done away. 9For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; 10but when that which is perfect is come, that which is in part shall be done away. 11When I was a child, I spake as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child: now that I am become a man, I have put away childish things. 12For now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know fully even as also I was fully known. 13But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love.

    Dear Diary

Today I am staring out the window(it is snowing, for the first time this year), I found this poem from
George Eliot, and I was wondering what it could possibly be like if roses were to fall from the sky...

    Roses By George Eliot

You love the roses--so do I. I wish
The sky would rain down roses, as they rain
From off the shaken bush. Why will it not?
Then all the valley would be pink and white
And soft to tread on. They would fall as light
As feathers, smelling sweet; and it would be
Like sleeping and like waking, all at once!

What a contrast to snow, right?
    Well just a thought...

Also I have been coming up with a couple of ideas for an Etsy shop.
I am usually drawn to whimsical crafts. And have always been drawn to hair pieces such as these.
It reminds me of Shakespeare and his "Midsummer's night dream".

    Dear Diary

Well today was a busy one,
we are preparing for my grandparents and, as you can imagine
lots of organizing is getting done.
I am still pretty sick, but I am in good spirits:)
I have been redecorating my room for the past two months,
and am almost done, I bought some posters from modcloth,
they have pretty birds, and butterflies, and fungi (I am obsessed, with fungi, I just think it is so interesting. I know I am weird.) Below is a link to see what they look like:)

I still need to find frames for them, and then I also have these
mini wall sconces from Ikea to get. But all in good time.
Well that is all for tonight.

Has anyone ever heard of her?
Her latest album is called Stairwells.
I really like it, especially this song:)

    Dear Diary

Well, I have had a cold, but am getting much better.
I have been studying the life of Louisa May Alcott
(whom I am sure we all know, from being the authoress, of "Little Women"),  and have found that keeping a journal, and writing overall, was encouraged very much by her mother.

She wrote once to Louisa, whom she called "Louy."

"Dear Louy, your handwriting improves very fast.
Take pains and do not be in a hurry. I like to have
you make observations about our conversations and your
own thoughts. It helps you to express them to and to
    understand your little self.
Remember, dear girl, that a diary should be epitome of your life.
May it be a record of pure thought and good actions,
then you will indeed be the precious child of
    your loving mother."

So that is how, I have in a way, been inspired for the day.
I love the way that the mother, wrote to her daughter that, that is the way in which we should all encourage one another.

    Hebrews 3:13
But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today...

    Dear Diary

     2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

Today, on the first day of year 2012,
it is so wonderful to know that because,
we are created anew through Jesus Christ.
We can put away our old self's, and become something new and beautiful.

So this new year, I want to be a new creation through Christ,
    start a fresh.
That is my new years resolution.
